    The Role

    The Financial Controller is responsible for the execution and integrity of all accounting activities, including managing and taking ownership of the monthly closing process, KPI reporting, ensuring tax and legal compliance, and more. While directing and supervising the accounting team, the Financial Controller will review current processes and systems with a focus on continuous improvement. We are open to candidates with experience working as a Controller or proactive and driven candidates who are ready for that next step in their career.

    As a Financial Controller, you can expect your basic duties to include:

    • Managing all finance and accounting operations
    • Overseeing monthly reporting, annual accounts, closing, and financial reporting of the group
    • Directing and supervising the accounting team while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
    • Overseeing tax matters ensuring compliance with local rules
    • Monitoring internal controls and assisting with risk management activities and reporting
    • Participating in budgeting processes and forecasts
    • Streamlining accounting functions and operations
    • Finding financing for growth or specific projects
    • Coordinating external and internal audit processes
    • Analyzing financial results in the appropriate reporting entity
    • Taking care of liquidity forecasts
    • Actively contribute to financial process improvements
    • Managing and developing team members

    Your qualifications should include:

    • Experience in a finance / accounting role with duties similar to those listed above
    • Knowledge in areas such as auditing, cost accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, or other related topics
    • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industries
    • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Very strong communication skills
    • A proactive, not reactive, style of work
