Assistant Accountant needed for Keller Williams Grand Rapids East. The Assistant Accountant will be involved with clerical, administrative, agent associates, and managerial parties on an ongoing daily basis. As such the Assistant Accountant must ensure that appropriate bookkeeping and accounting systems are accurately maintained. They may also be assisting the Team Leader in managing agents and the Market Center. This Market Center has huge profit potential! Candidates should exhibit natural leadership ability, strong relationship-building skills, and be flexible team-player. They must have a strong sense of urgency with attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This person must be capable of making decisions on their own, as well as being self-sufficient and self-directed. Additionally, it will be crucial for the assistant accountant to combine persuasion and consultation, focused on building a solid rapport in tandem with problem-solving, and when dealing with agent issues, focused on problem-solving and determining the individual's unique needs. Compensation: • Salary Range is $45,000-55,000 • Benefits package will be offered • Growth potential Responsibilities: Primary Objectives : • Accurate banking and accounting service • Good tech skills and computerized QuickBooks • Basic office skills • Help the office manager/market center administrator manage the agents and the market center Regular Work Activities and Primary Responsibilities: • Computer input • Bookkeeping • Systems implementation • introducing new products/services to current agency partners • Maintaining database management system(s) • Assisting Agents and their Admin Staff and helping them to have an extraordinary experience Qualifications: • Accurate bookkeeping and accounting, advanced • Microsoft skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, and Google Docs • Strong written and verbal communication skills and they must be tech-savvy • 2 years minimum accounting experience • Ability to pass basic accounting assessment as part of the interview process • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Passionate about leading the organization to meet higher growth goals • Accurate bookkeeping & accounting (advanced) • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Tech-savvy • Extremely detail-oriented and strong attention to detail • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Possess a “can-do,” no excuses attitude • Problem-solve quickly and remain solution-oriented • Resourceful, team player Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000 salary range
