Job Description

Performs accounting activities adhering to established policies and procedures. May initiate customer contact to proactively address reconcile operational issues to resolution using knowledge of financial processes, procedures and systems. Often serves as first line of contact with internal external resources in absence of a senior professional. RESPONSIBILITIES: Accounts Payable Specialist Ensures accurate accounting records for receipts, disbursements and other accounting transactions. Performs a variety of clerical and entry-level bookkeeping and accounting tasks, applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records. Prepares financial, statistical, and/or technical reports. Duties also include but are not limited to: Research Purchase Order for vendors Review Vendor accounts Manually Input Invoices and maintain in the Excel Spreadsheet- Data Entry Assist in Vendor Master Files Save invoices in vendors file Complete and Submit Sales tax Exempt Certs for Vendors Monitoring Accounts Receivable and following up on aged receivables Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for processing Accounts Payable and helping with Accounts Receivable Collections and related data monitoring.
