Job Description
Work Location: GM Flint Assembly Pay Rate: $22.00/hr on W2 Paid Time Off: 10 days per year Work Schedule: 10 PM - 6 AM (third shift - Sunday Night - Thursday Night); candidate will train on day shift (2-3 weeks of training) Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and computers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma required. Experience working in a manufacturing, lab, or automotive environment (at least 1-2 years). Team members must have good interpersonal skills, solid proficiency with basic IT tools (e.g., MS Office). Team members must be available to work rotating shifts, weekends (when necessary) and must be physically capable of working on feet for extensive periods of time.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESIRED: Paint application knowledge, paint defect recognition, basic analysis skills. Understanding of quality systems and concepts a plus. SAP expertise a plus.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Contractor supports BASF sales/technical team by tracking and analyzing various product data. Duties include data entry, logging, charting, and analyzing product and process characteristics and problem resolution. Daily use of Excel and other PC applications. Will also handle inventory ordering/management.
