Primary Responsibilities: • Direct interaction with customers that require immediate decisions on commercial and operational execution. • Develops, grows, and maintains key customer relationships as frontline to KONI North America external facing team. • Uses costs to create pricing that maximizes KONI profit yield while growing new market share. • Builds customer RFQ documents including pricing, lead times and requirements. • Interacts with customers on various inquiries regarding delivery, quality, lead times, and availability. Uses internal communication, problem solving skills, and experience to enable good decisions solving critical customer issues to maximize company and customer results. • Works independently to create commercial solutions for the company and customer base. • Position requires detail oriented problem solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. • Drives internal process with project management activities to keep all internal departments aligned with customer expectations. • Interprets various sales and engineering inputs to generate new part forms to be used in manufacturing. • Gather new customer information to create new accounts and make revisions when necessary. • Based on shipping documents, produces daily invoices. • Completes order entry on customer PO’s and responds with pricing acknowledgements, lead time, and shipping verifications. • Attends monthly account payable meetings and drives delinquent account resolutions. • May be asked to perform other duties at a lower or higher level of proficiency. • Work may include extended hours, including possible weekend work, to meet customer expectations. • This position requires visibility to controlled documents. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: • High school diploma or GED equivalent; Desire to pursue further education is preferred • Proven customer support experience • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening • SAP experience preferred • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond professionally • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively • Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities
