    Kaeding Management Group, a small yet rapidly growing Hotel Development and Management company, has acquired the Crowne Plaza AiRE in Bloomington, MN. Kaeding Management represents an organizational model of employee-centered culture, focusing on the personal and professional development of our associates. We are seeking an experienced Night Audit staff to help bolster our Front Office operations and service efforts at the Crowne Plaza AiRE.

    Role Overview:

    The Night Audit Associate is often the first point of contact and the first impression for guests, conduct room and food and beverage audits to ensure accurate recording and reporting of the daily transactions made from the front desk and various food and beverage outlets within Crowne Plaza AiRE. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassures guest they’ve made the right choice to stay with us.

    Role Responsibilities:

    Perform all guest service representative and PBX duties as scheduled, requested, or required

    Manager on Duty (i.e. handle guest concerns, associate situations, etc) as required

    Balance all posting types, including; all charges and ensure backup records are present (i.e. adjustment vouchers, miscellaneous slips, etc.)

    Preparation for transaction and notification of missing vouchers to the Director of Front Office

    The following will be performed as illustrated in Room Audit Procedures and Computer commands:

    Print all pre-audit reports

    Carefully review room rate reports for accuracy of rates, guest types, group codes and other related information

    Make all necessary corrections and notify supervisor of any discrepancies

    Print all audit reports and perform roll-over related functions

    Ensure all banquet checks are listed accurately on the Banquet Recap Sheet; make corrections to the checks and sheet if needed, post checks to customer accounts

    Audit Food & Beverage reports receipts forwarded by the restaurant manager

    Prepare restaurant worksheets by matching settlement against the supervisor’s summary and report. Make corrections as required; summarize outlet sales on the F & B Recap sheet

    Prepare daily recap sheets

    Work with all night staff to maintain hospitable flow according to Crown Plaza brand standards

    Assist guest service representatives as needed

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION:

    High School diploma or equivalent

    College degree in business, accounting, or hospitality management preferred

    EXPERIENCE:

    Minimum 3 three years Hotel Night Audit experience

    Minimum 2 years' supervisory management experience

    Prior accounting/bookkeeping experience is preferred

    SKILLS:

    Must be able to handle many tasks simultaneously

    Must be able to prioritize

    Must be able to work well with little supervision

    Attend all safety-training seminars and successfully complete all assessments.

    Report all possible safety concerns to your supervisor immediately after their discovery.
