Kahn, Soares & Conway, LLP, an AV rated law firm in Hanford, CA, is looking for a legal assistant or paralegal with experience in probate, trust administration, and estate planning to assist with the preparation of legal and estate planning documents, probate and trust accountings, preparation of distribution and transfer documents including real property deeds and related documents, client correspondence and client contact. Candidates need good organizational skills, ability to work as part of a team and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Pay commensurate with experience and skills. Benefits include: • Health • Vision • Dental • 401k Responsibilities: • Draft legal documents, pleadings and correspondence for estate planning, probate and trust accounting and administration, and probate and trust distribution • Client interviews to gather information related to probate, trust and estate planning or administration • Organize files in filing systems and other administrative duties as needed • Work as a team with attorney and legal assistant for the benefit of our clients Qualifications: 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred Talented communicator and writer Compensation: $22 - $30 per hour
