Consultant, Business Analytics
Kaizen Analytix LLC, an analytics products and services company that gives clients unmatched speed to value through analytics solutions and actionable business insights, is seeking candidates for a Business Analytics Consultant.
As a Business Analytics Consultant, you will have the opportunity to exercise strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the chance to solve complex problems and communicate your findings to the client. This role would be 35-40 hours a week for approximately 1 year.

- Structuring ambiguous business problems and supporting data analysis, data visualization, and project management
- Building the foundation for the project by capturing the business context: the problem, current state, desired future state, business needs, and success criteria
- Developing a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users and technical teams to define technical and process requirements
- Collecting and reviewing available information to make data-driven business decisions and recommendations
- Collaborating with the client team and cross-functional Kaizen team members including data scientists and software developers
- Working under the guidance of senior project leadership and analytics professionals

- Create data sets, perform data analysis and develop business insights
- Design, develop, and test dashboards with advanced functionality and UX (Power BI, Tableau, other)
- Create design and user documentation
- Facilitate presentations and working sessions using techniques to help define project scope, requirements, and presenting analytical findings
- Develop testing procedure and methodologies to ensure solution has been implemented successfully
- Navigate the project team, IT personnel, and business sponsors through ambiguity in an effective manner
- Ensure change control and change management procedures are followed within the project team
- Cultivate effective relationships and credibility with client partners
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of work experience is required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Business, Data Analytics, Engineering or related degree preferred; MBA is a plus
- Core Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills; mindset of “own it all the way”
- Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Working knowledge of Data Visualization tools (Power BI – preferred, Tableau); Familiarity with SQL required
- Must be able to travel within the US; ~25% onsite requirement
