We have real people who try to explain real actionable solutions in easy-to-understand terms. Role Description: We are looking for an experienced individual to join our Final Review team. This person must have 2+ years of experience underwriting MCA’s– with a strong emphasis on post contract verification. He/she must have the ability to perform bank verification, scrub bank statements, and/or complete funding calls. This candidate must be comfortable handling a large number of deals daily, and thrive in a high pressure, results driven environment. He/she must be able to adapt quickly and efficiently.  This is a remote work from home position; however, the standard office hours are 9:30am - 6:00pm Eastern Monday-Friday. The position is expected to work standard business hours. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. Salary: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Work with the Relationship Managers to collect and organize outstanding stipulations
    • Work directly with business owners to perform manual bank verifications
    • Work with Decision Logic software to verify bank statements submitted for underwriting
    • Scrub bank statements to create a cash flow summary
    • Perform basic background searches and review contracts for errors and necessary edits
    • Perform funding call with business owner
    • Perform fraud checks to verify all stipulations
    • Perform other due diligence as needed to determine the creditworthiness of a small business owner

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    • 2+ years’ experience working in Merchant Cash Advance / financial institution underwriting small businesses; 2+ years in a commercial credit analyst or commercial underwriting role working with small businesses a plus
    • Strong analytical skills including the ability to verify and assess individual and company financial statements, cash flow, and industry
    • Proficient in various spreadsheet and word processing applications (Excel and Word are preferred) including the use of graphs/charts
    • Basic knowledge of credit principles, funding operations, and general credit policies
    • Team player with the ability to take the initiative
    • Detail-oriented, ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Problem recognition and resolution skills
    • Customer Service oriented
