RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a strategic thinker who can handle the day-to-day financial operations and identify areas for growth and improvement. The job responsibilities of our Controller include:
Leadership
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop effective financial reporting and strategies
- Lead, manage, develop, and train the finance team
- Own all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for CEO and COO
- Manage departmental budgeting processes
- Develop and report on relevant KPIs
Management and Oversight
- Maintain general ledger accounts and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable
- Manage tax filing processes with outside accountant (including returns, reviews, and audits)
- Oversee bank accounts and wire transfers, approve payments, credit cards/accounts, partner payments, and license fees
- Analyze and forecast revenue
Innovation and Process Improvement
- Develop processes and leverage technology to drive organizational growth
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies through an effective cost analysis process
_ This is an onsite position with hybrid potential based just outside of Philadelphia, PA._* ** Relocation package can be considered for the right candidate.**
Required
- 3+ years Controller, Accounting Manager, Director of Finance, or equivalent experience in a company of $25M or greater revenue
- 3+ years’ experience leading and managing financial teams
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Proficient to above average skills in Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Preferred
- MBA in Finance
- Experience and implementation of ERP (or equivalent software)
- Experience evaluating and implementing new technology strategies
- Microsoft Business Central / Dynamics NAV experience
- Inventory-based business experience
- Experience in retail, wholesale, warehousing, consumer products, or manufacturing
Desired
- CPA accreditation
- Strong SQL skills and report writing
- Comfortable with Business Intelligence / Crystal reporting

Salary Range: $125k-$135k
