Duties
- Implement onboarding strategies and programs for new employees (Following company procedures)
-Recruit candidates using Indeed and Breezy platforms, engage candidates timely and effectively
-Review candidates for qualifications, conduct pre-screening interviews, initiate background checks, complete reference checks
-Work in partnership with supervisors to complete formal interviews
-Develop and implement a welcome process for new hires
- Coordinate and conduct orientation sessions for new hires
- Create and maintain onboarding materials, including employee handbooks and training manuals, forms, packets, etc.
- Collaborate with HR team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Conduct employee evaluations to assess onboarding effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to new employees throughout the onboarding process
- Assist with HR completing personnel records/files including paper and digital
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop succession planning strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred (experience considered)
- Proven experience in onboarding or HR role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with new employees
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Proficiency in the use of technology, digital platforms
- Familiarity with social media management for recruitment purposes
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
