The Role You Will Play

• As part of the Global Analytics and Inforce Management group, the Life Assistant Actuary will support all aspects of the organization with specific focus to supporting and enhancing the firm’s capital and risk management processes by examining risk distributions and capital adequacy for internal and external uses.
• This position will develop an understanding of the firm’s internal capital models to help maintain and improve assumptions and calculations.

Background Profile

• ASA and 3+ years of actuarial experience in life insurance/reinsurance
• Working knowledge of reinsurance valuation and/or financial reporting
• Exposure to Solvency II, or rating agency capital regimes
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills partnered with advanced investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics or related field
