The Role You Will Play

• The FileMaker Developer will maintain and develop custom FileMaker databases using version 19+ as well as work to define new functionality and address issues based on user feedback.
• In this role, the developer will stress test apps to find inconsistencies, bugs, and security weaknesses.
• In addition, you will put your creativity to work when building-out Zendesk knowledge base by drafting article content.
• The FileMaker Developer is responsible for monitoring the Zendesk Community and responding to customer support tickets via Zendesk.

Background Profile

• 3+ years of professional FileMaker platform experience (versions 17+), with exposure to development, testing, support, and server deployment/hosting.
• Working knowledge of advanced FileMaker tools such as custom functions, variables, parameters, script triggers, custom menus, themes, PSOS, script debugger, data viewer, data migration tool, and solution upgrade tool.
• Exposure to traditional relational database design as well as FileMaker's anchor-buoy methodology; WebDirect usage and restrictions; and scripting best practices, including proper documentation/commenting.
• Possess design skills that focus on efficiency and user experience.
• Certification in any version of FileMaker (12 or above) is a bonus.
