Your Role with the Company
- The Actuarial Analyst Employee Benefits will support the company’s consulting to employers and brokers relating to employee health benefits by developing and utilizing actuarial models; analyzing healthcare costs and utilization data; developing reports; participating in client calls/meetings; and supporting project management.
- Responsibilities of this role include plan design and contribution modeling, rate setting, budgeting/forecasting, administration of RFPs, reporting and project management.
- With exceptional attention to detail, the Actuarial Analyst Employee Benefits will work on several projects at once (typically 2 - 4 projects) and interact effectively with colleagues on all levels.

Background Profile
- 2+ years’ actuarial experience in the health practice of an employee benefits consulting firm or insurance carrier
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and database applications and an understanding of programming (SAS/SQL)
- ASA or near ASA, with expectation of continued progress on actuarial exams
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or related field, required
