The Role You Will Play
- The Assistant Actuary, Corporate Actuarial is responsible for the development and maintenance of GGY-AXIS actuarial models for the capital solution/financial reinsurance deals.
- This role will provide actuarial modeling support and financial reinsurance expertise during deal design and implementation stage.
- With superior communication skills, the Assistant Actuary, Corporate Actuarial will liaise with IFRS 17 team, valuation, finance, investment modeling, financial planning, controller, & IT to ensure models built using GGY Axis, Excel, SQL or other software components are fit for the intended purpose and built according to the agreed model specifications.

Background Profile
- Associate, Society of Actuaries (ASA) with 4+ years of life insurance/actuarial experience
- Expertise in GGY-AXIS, MG-ALFA as well as AXIS DataLink coding
- Familiarity with Model development or modeling
- Experience in multiple accounting methods (Statutory, GAAP, Tax, & IFRS)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Math/Statistics
