    The Role You Will Play

    • The Associate Director, Health and Benefits will be at the forefront of managing projects for large, complex clients and leverage her/his experience as a benefits expert to make recommendations on plan design and management on the full array of health and benefits programs.
    • This role will participate in new business activities and the creation of new intellectual capital including vendor procurement, negotiation, and optimization.
    • The Associate Director, Health and Benefits will position her/himself to grow into a senior relationship management and/or leadership role by serving as the pivotal point on all projects and working alongside industry experts on cutting edge solutions.

    Background Profile

    • 6+ years of Actuarial experience and success in the design/management of large group health and welfare plans gained in a consulting or brokerage environment; alternatively, similar experience in a consultative role gained at a carrier or vendor
    • Expertise in creating project plans and successfully leading teams in execution of the project against plan guidelines
    • Strong financial skills; prior experience in health and welfare product pricing, underwriting or valuation work preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with significant quantitative coursework
    • State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining
