The Role You Will Play
- The Assistant Actuary, Product Performance will design and build actuarial analyses to evaluate the performance of existing underwriting practices assessing impact on expected mortality, new business, and company costs.
- This role will develop a good understanding of firm’s automated underwriting engine, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- The Assistant Actuary, Product Performance will collaborate with Underwriting, Pricing, Product Development to develop the underwriting and risk control for new products developed by the company for its distribution partners.
- With superior communication skills, the Assistant Actuary, Product Performance will effectively delegate work within Product Performance and provide regular progress reports to Head of Product Performance.

Background Profile
- Associate, Society of Actuaries (ASA)
- 4+ years of actuarial experience including experience in life insurance
- Expertise in actuarial modeling (GGY-AXIS, MG-ALFA)
- Working knowledge of data manipulation (R, Excel, Tableau)
- Proficient in drafting documents and reports
- Bachelor’s Degree in Math/Statistics/Actuarial Science/Data Science
