    Your Role with the Company

    • The Actuarial Associate will provide employee retirement benefit services to clients under the guidance of actuaries, including general support to the consulting actuaries and other members of the team.
    • This is a key role managing client relationships while also handling administrative tasks and routine projects.
    • The Actuarial Associate will assist in preparation of recurring basic actuarial valuation and compliance work for qualified retirement plans of assigned clients.
    • In addition, this role will prepare and present materials for clients, provide support on corporate and governmental OPEB plans, and analyze and assist on special projects providing input to actuary and/or consultant on appropriate steps to complete required work.

    Background Profile

    • 4+ years of relevant benefits experience
    • Expert technical skills including previous IRS funding valuations, (calculations required under PPA, funding, and accounting rules preferred), preparing government forms, valuation data preparation, etc.
    • EA, Near ASA, or ASA with plans to become FSA
    • 1 or more actuarial exams completed
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or related field, required
