Kamran & Company is a leading food service equipment provider and design agency. Over the past 30 years, we have cultivated trusted partnership across a diverse set of markets delivering over $1B in construction value. The CAD Designer position will support our internal team in the fabrication process of custom specifications for industrial kitchen installations. Our business is growing and we're seeking a collaborative draftsman to support us as we scale.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Commercial kitchen design, draft layouts, production drawings, and presentation drawings.
• Client relationships related to developing schematic design, design development, and prototypical packages.
• Coordinate with architectural and engineering partners as well as various stakeholders.
• Partner with team members on multiple projects, including all phases of design.
• Sketch layouts and perform capacity/sales studies to develop design and determine specified kitchen equipment.
• Communicate with client to enusre needs of each space are met.
• Facilitate drawings through ordering, procurement, and installation.
• Create graphical presentation drawings.
• Create ad hoc drawings and training documents as needed.
• Resolve project issues that fall within CAD designer responsibilities.
• Attend all design related meetings with client.

Qualifications and Experience:

• ****Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design preferred.
• 5+ years experience in a professional design environment.
• Food service equipment design experience preferred.
• Proficient in the following programs is preferred: AutoCad, Revit, Adobe Suite, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.

The pay range for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Pay Range: $20.00-$40.00 per hour.
