    We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to help with Kanban set-up and coordination to join our team. This position is temporary. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, and basic computer skills in Excel and Word, and work independently with little supervision. This highly tactical role involves identifying Kanban opportunities for purchased parts, establishing the parameters for purchasing those parts, and physically setting up the kanban location throughout multiple factories. Over 50% of the time will be spent in manufacturing areas physically setting up Kanban processes.

    Your Role in Our Mission:

    Work with Buyers and Manufacturing Supervisors to identify potential kanban part opportunities

    Retrieve data from the ERP system to establish weekly demand.

    Work with Buyers and suppliers to confirm lead times on kanban parts.

    Determine bin size requirements and establish preliminary Kanban quantities.

    Physically create the kanban setup in the manufacturing area.

    Update ERP system with kanban re-order data.

    Create, document, and communicate an effective sustainability program for maintaining the kanban process

    Effectively communicate the kanban process to key stakeholders.

    Other kanban related duties as assigned.

    To Perform this Job Successfully:

    Experience with kanban processes preferred but not necessary.

    A proven ability to get results and work independently with little supervision.

    Proficiency in data Excel analytics.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

    Ability to perform physical work in a manufacturing environment.
