    ABOUT ROLE

    At Kanopy, we really believe in the power of film. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who is responsible for integrated campaign management and execution across all digital channels to propel both classic and modern motion pictures that spark discourse, raise awareness, and educate the world through the most accessible form of media: film. This role will own all aspects of the global B2B & B2C growth marketing digital channel strategy to drive SEO, email performance, and social planning, execution and reporting. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Marketing and will play a crucial role in achieving business goals for the next 12 months and beyond. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Developing, launching, and scaling lead generation efforts to achieve monthly acquisition and ROI targets.
    • B2B management of Salesforce & Pardot, including email campaigns, creating landing pages, automations, reporting, CRM integration, monitoring, and reporting
    • B2C management of Iterable, includes HTML email campaign coding creation, testing, launch and reporting
    • Track KPIs per campaign, including open rates, click-through rates, and trends on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
    • Daily engagement across all owned social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
    • Actively listen and monitor social conversations across owned channels and the larger social web to stay abreast of social, technology and behavioral trends to inform our social media marketing strategy.
    • Define and execute SEO analysis, keyword plans, and reporting/optimization

    WHAT YOU NEED

    • Strong project management skills. You're organized and able to keep a project on track to meet timelines

    • Experience with audience creation and list management

    • Experience in Pardot Lead gen integration; set-up progressive profiling, improve lead scoring, build out if/then/and/or campaigns and create dashboards to provide visibility into results, measure effectiveness, and provide alternate strategies if needed

    • Ability to build email workflows, leveraging triggers and events to segment audiences

    • Develop captive copy and experience across B2B and B2C email marketing, paid search, social, blog and digital advertising 

    • Go-to resource for technical implementation of a complex email program with lifecycle campaigns, batched ad hoc sends, and personalized push notifications

    • Coordination of email automations and journeys, including planning, asset gathering, building, approvals, scheduling, QA, and execution of test sends and deployments

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Product, Design, and Engineering to improve marketing operations and efficiently scale the notifications program

    • Develop and produce technical/video materials for the business audience (white papers, webinars, etc.)

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 4+ years of relevant experience
    • 3+ years of Google Analytics and Pardot experience
    • 4 years of developing and managing digital marketing campaigns and driving revenue
    • 4-year college degree in business and/or marketing-related field
    • Proficient in HTML, CSS and templating languages
    • Excellent grammar, writing, and editorial skills
    • Solid experience in email campaign management
    • Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize responsibilities, multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
