    ABOUT KANOPY

    Kanopy is a video streaming platform that brings people together through film. By partnering with universities and libraries, we've made it possible to offer free access to the world's top film collection for millions of people. We're growing at an incredible rate and are looking for the right Sales Support Specialist to come and join our team as we continue to scale our efforts.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Remote based, you will assist in monitoring & supporting customer relationships for our EMEA customers primarily located in the UK. You will also be responsible for on-boarding new customers and helping to meet overall sales targets. You will be looking to work in a fast-paced environment with a key focus on customer support and sales administration. 

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Provide customer support and coordinate customer support activities by monitoring & distributing in-bound sales & support tickets
    • Collaborate with sales team on customer maintenance by flagging potential issues and assisting with the response plan
    • Assist with set-up of new accounts
    • Monitor & track customer performance
    • Provide customer updates - usage reports, budget status, user feedback etc
    • Assist with conference planning, including attending to support ongoing customer relationships

    REQUIREMENTS

    This position will require some proven experience, ideally involving B2B sales. Some other key requirements include:

    • 2 years experience (ideally working with libraries)
    • Proven experience with Excel (building, reviewing and interpreting reports)
    • Outstanding attention to detail & strong organizational skills
    • Excellent customer service skills (phone, email & in-person)
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
    • Proficiency in CRM software, ideally Salesforce & Zendesk nice to have

     

    This position is remote based, but eastern time zone preferred. It comes with a competitive salary & benefits package, including full health coverage and 4 weeks vacation.
