ABOUT THE ROLE

Kanopy is looking for a motivated, high-performing Account Executive to join our sales team as our Eastern US territory representative. You will be responsible for building and closing new business opportunities for the public library market, as well as nurturing and growing existing business. You will need to demonstrate a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve ongoing sales targets.

The key responsibilities include:

• Manage full sales cycle from lead to close for prospects
• Manage existing customers in your territory, leveraging data to grow the relationship
• Develop and execute a strategic plan for your territory (FL,GA,IL,IN,OH,WV,MI,TN,KY)
• Drive growth by prospecting, demonstrating value and closing new business
• Primarily engage customers through customers product demonstrations, phone calls and on-site visits as needed
• Update our CRM system with customer and pipeline data
• Work closely to collaborate and partner with peers to improve sales processes 
• Attend domestic industry conferences

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience
• Consistent track record of exceeding targets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in CRM software
• Willingness to travel
• Bachelor's Degree
