Fall Internship: Business Development Kansas City Mavericks - Kansas City, MO Internship The Kansas City Mavericks are looking for enthusiastic interns to join the team during the 2018-2019 season. Interns will be exposed to various departments and tasks, in addition to the specific roles of this position. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor, with the ability to communicate clearly to executives at all levels (both internally and externally), and take pride in all work they complete. The individual needs to be detail oriented, have ability to manage various tasks simultaneously, and meet demanding deadlines. The ability to work independently by taking initiative, recommending solutions, and making informed decisions is a necessity. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Manage and maintain lists and client databases Plan and execute sponsor events Regulate email campaigns and advertising schedules Aid in sponsorship activation on game days and at special events Work most Mavericks Home Games Interact professionally with both clients and fans Assist in managing contracts and support sponsorship fulfillment Assist in developing 2018-2019 corporate partner season recaps Qualifications: Must be able to receive college credit (graduate or undergraduate) for the internship during the fall 2018 semester. Ability to receive credit for the full-season (through April 2019) is a plus.
