    Job Title: Co-Principal Investigator

    Job Summary:

    Co-PI will work with PI (Dr. Seokhee Cho) and co-PI (Dr. Jenny Yang) to conduct Project WINGS, Javits Grant Project to plan, execute, and report its performance. Co-PI will communicate, arrange tasks, and supervise various staff members including graduate students, student workers, independent consultants.

    Essential Functions:

    Co-PI, will oversee the research aspects of the Project WINGS to ensure successful execution of quasi-experimental design, refining assessment instruments, data collection and data analyses for the successful conduct of research working with the PI, Project Director and external evaluator. They will support for all aspects of project including conducting research and coordinating graduate students and schools. As an internal evaluator, they will collect information with the project team and independently analyze all the quantitative and qualitative data. At the end of project year, they will write summative reports on the project process, progress, and preliminary outcomes.

    • Develop observation and interview forms
    • Train observation team
    • Conduct observations and interviews for the qualitative portion of the research study
    • Manage mentoring and observation
    • Aid in coding and analyzing the qualitative results
    • Conduct literature searches and synthesize the results of prior research studies
    • Contribute to project reports, briefs, and other manuscripts
    • Ensure detailed documentation of methods and reproducibility of results
    • Present Project findings in meetings and conferences
    • Evaluate the success of the programs and make suggestions to improve programs

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands will be the typical demands of office workers who will sit on the desk for more than 7 hours a day to perform reading, writing, or analyzing documents and data.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This position is full-time and the expected hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position may require long hours and weekend work.

    Travel

    This position may require travels to participating schools in New York, Texas, and California for data collection, for professional development of participating teachers.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Ph.D. in gifted education, special education, or education.
    • 1 year of experience in the offered position or as a Research Scholar or Researcher (post-doctoral or fellowship).
    • All of the required experience must have included conducting or participating in academic research in the areas of gifted education and STEM education; designing studies in the field of gifted education, including assessing, collecting, and analyzing data; designing a database, integrating data from multiple sources, and checking the accuracy and usefulness of data entries; performing quantitative analysis using factor analysis (both R and Q) and correlations using SPSS; conducting statistical analysis using quasi-experimental longitudinal design, T-test, chi-square, ANCOVA, MANOVA, growth curve modeling, confirmatory factor analysis, and qualitative analysis; and writing grant proposals.

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    • Work experiences in managing a research project after Ph.D.

    In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual/hourly salary range for this position is $59,000 - $65,000.     The Sr. Sales Account Executive duties and Responsibilities include:

    • Identify, qualify, orchestrate and close new business within the assigned target accounts leveraging compelling return on investment that the Kofax solution provides.
    • Work closely with our Lead Generation Team, Inside Sales Team,  and Sales Engineer resources to create and manage a strong pipeline of new business in both existing customers and prospects
    • Effectively manage multiple concurrent sales cycles effectively
    • Understand and articulate the value of the Kofax solutions to VP and C-level audiences which align to the prospects strategic objectives
    • Establish and maintain strong and referenceable relationships with our existing client base.
    • Qualify and forecast deals accurately and consistently.
    • Develop and execute field marketing activities to drive pipeline growth
    • Grow and maintain a deep and wide set of contacts across all lines of business within each target account. 
    • Actively work with internal teams to perform all the necessary steps for effective prospecting and qualification.  The Sales Account Executive is expected to create a pipe no less than 3X of target.
    • Work very closely with Kofax’s list of partners to jointly engage in prospecting, qualifying, calls or visits according to strategic account mapping plans with the Partners.   
    • Perform regular housekeeping activities to ensure that the CRM system is always clean and up to date, in accordance to Management’s guidelines
    • Needs to drive direct sales activities to SMB and Enterprise customers.
    • Cold calls to corporate accounts & lead follow-up
    • Min. 3-4 Customer Meetings weekly
    • Visit at least 4 Corporate Resellers monthly
