    Robotic Engineer

    To help us drive excellence, as a Robotic Engineer you’ll get to:

    · Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities.

    · Develop and maintain Robotic Integration standards (Programming, I/O, DCS)

    · Develop and maintain Offline Programming (OLP)

    · Develop and maintain Robot selection criteria and approval

    · Maintain a strategy for redeployment and/or obsolescence of exiting robot assets as it pertains to age, hours, application, etc..

    · Validate Safe Stop Distance sheets during design of new equipment

    · Manage On-Site and Purchased Robotic Asset Software

    · Standardize Technology Package PAC selection (Software)

    · Support new program equipment launch activity as it relates to startup, debug and achieving performance objectives.

    · Reviews and approves DCS zones of all new launch equipment as a support during the NMRE Safety buyoff process.

    · Use computer-based engineering software and equipment: (Robo-guide/Robot Studio, PC based programs, CAD based programs).

    This full-time role is a part of our Engineering team and reports to the Sr. Controls Manager


    Required education & experience:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar

    · Zero (0) to three (3) years of related technical hands on experience


    Required skills & Abilities:

    · Natural Problem Solver

    · Ability and Willingness to Learn

    · Mechanical Ability

    · Self-starter and ability to work productively for long periods of little to no supervision

    · Ability to learn, understand and apply corporate standards for equipment and tooling.

    · Fanuc and Motoman programming languages at an advanced level.

    · Familiarity with Robot Carried Applications (Arc/Spot/Vision)

    · Familiarity with Ethernet communications


    Preferred additional skills & abilities:

    · Ability to work with Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.

    · Ability to work with MQ1 and QAD databases at an advanced level.

    · Familiarity with DeviceNet communications.
