Job Summary:
The Associate Director, Career Services provides career education expertise in the STEM fields and represents University Career Services within specific colleges at St. John’s University. The Associate Director will lead initiatives in collaboration with their respective college Career Services team and across the University to meet the needs of students, faculty, alumni, and employers. The Associate Director will provide career coaching and facilitated learning sessions through group and individual advisement that ensures students' career readiness. They understand industry workforce needs, remain current with trends and assist students to identify appropriate employment opportunities. The Associate Director will develop and maintain faculty relationships and create innovative programs that deliver career education across target populations. The Associate Director will contribute to the career readiness of St. John’s University students, providing equitable access to career resources for all students and support the overall effectiveness of the Career Services department and the Division of Student Affairs.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $78,000 . St. John’s University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
This position may be relocated to any of St. John’s University’s physical locations at any time.
