Kansas Legal Services seeks a full-time Information Technology Administrator with an interest in social justice and non-profit work to support employees statewide on a variety of technical issues. This work includes providing support for client services, developing and maintaining IT policies, and ensuring system security. The position will be located in our Administrative office in Topeka. The IT Administrator is responsible for deploying, maintaining, security, and supporting a broad spectrum of hardware and software technology. Act as a first responder to technical support issues, carefully categorizing, tracking, and resolving end-user requests for IT help. Conduct in-house training on computer maintenance and policy implementation. On-going website development for 3 websites using Drupal Content Management System and increasing social media presence. Collaborate with IT vendors to ensure best practices for legal services providers. Minimum Qualifications : AA or technical degree in information systems or related field or two (2) years advising and assisting computer users in a distributed computing environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Preferred Qualifications : * Independent work experience in Information Technology management. * Two (2) years network administration related experience in installation and maintenance of PC systems.
