    Kapitus is looking for a Social Media Specialist who will be responsible for the development and oversight of all our ORGANIC social media activities.  Supporting an aggressive social media effort for the company, you will work in partnership with the Director of Brand Marketing on the creation, execution, and evolution of a corporate-wide social media strategy to build and maintain a strong brand awareness and enhance the company's reputation as the go-to financing partner for small business owners.

    The ideal candidate will have experience using both their creativity/wit and an analytical mind-set to develop and grow an online community.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Social Media Channel Management

    • Assist in building out social media content strategy to align with corporate goals.
    • Maintain social media calendar for primary social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and any other social channels that may be added to the strategy.
    • Publish content to all social channels as per the content calendar.
    • Write posts and use appropriate hashtags and tagging to enhance our organic reach.
    • Update and on-going maintenance of account profile details.
    • Develop monthly reports that show performance by channel.
    • Develop social listening reports to aid in content development opportunities for paid social media initiatives, earned content, blog posts and beyond.
    • Use real-time engagement data, sentiment analysis, and social listening activities to continuously optimize and inform the social media strategy.

    Digital Community Management

    • Regularly monitor Kapitus social media public communities and respond to audience engagement, where appropriate.
    • Regularly monitor third-party online communities to share content and engage with audiences.
    • Assist in the development of social media response guidelines and templates that reflect the Kapitus Brand.
    • Build, moderate and grow private communities on applicable social media platforms.
    • Triage escalated comments/questions to appropriate departments (both risks and opportunities.)

    Online Review Management

    • Assist in the development and execution of online review solicitation campaigns.
    • Assist in the development of review response guidelines and templates that both reflect the Kapitus brand and address customer complaints and compliments.
    • Respond to all reviews posted on social media, TrustPilot and Google.
    • Escalate negative reviews to appropriate departments.
    • Develop monthly reports that showcase company risks and opportunities based on review content.

    Thought Leadership & Advocacy

    • Create and monitor topic lists to identify opportunities to participate in small and midsize business (SMB) topics.
    • Assist in the development of personalized social strategies for our in-house thought leaders and co-manage where appropriate.
    • Create and manage a list of industry thought leaders and influencers and assist in strategy development to engage and partner with these individuals.
    • Monitor both internal and external thought leadership account activity and escalate potential opportunities to appropriate team members.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and job experience.
    • 2-3 years of experience handling and organically growing social media accounts,
    • 1-2 including social listening/management platforms.
    • Cross platform experience with multiple social media platforms, especially Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
    • Have experience creating social media specific content (post copywriting) that engages your audience while representing a brand's tone of voice, with examples showcasing prior success
    • Experience partnering at all levels of an organization.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES (KSA)

    • Possess a strongly developed knowledge of ALL social media platforms, how they function, and how to grow engagement on each of them.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially for a digital environment, as well as a strong sense of accountability
    • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across an organization
    • Excellent organization and time management skills
    • Analytical thinker with the ability to turn large amounts of data into concise and actionable storylines.
    • Fun, witty, intelligent, and super-passionate about engaging with small business owners on social media.
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities
