Cook Job DescriptionReports to: Executive Chef / Manager On DutyPurpose of PositionPreparing and cooking a variety of high-quality Kapow food for our restaurant guests to enjoy. Contribute to a friendly and productive team atmosphere.Job Responsibilities
Inspect and clean food preperation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces ro serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
Season and cook food according to recipes.
Maintain temperature logs; keep walk-in cooler/freezer organized Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism. Able to complete Food Handler’s certification.
Effective communication skills. Able to lift 50 pounds.
Able to work standing for 8+ hours.
