    TITLE:                    SALES AND PRODUCT SPECIALIST

    DEPARTMENT:         SALES 

    REPORTS TO:            TEAM LEADER   

    STATUS                     THIS IS A 40/HOUR PER WEEK POSITION.

                       

    JOB PURPOSE: AS PART OF A TEAM FOCUSED ON DELIVERING GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, YOU'LL INTRODUCE OUR CUSTOMERS TO PRODUCTS THAT HELP THEM MEET THEIR TRANSPORTATION NEEDS. YOU WILL HELP CREATE ENERGY AND EXCITEMENT, PROVIDING THE RIGHT AUTOMOTIVE SOLUTIONS AND GETTING OUR CUSTOMER INTO THE RIGHT VEHICLE. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    SALES: As a Specialist, you're highly skilled at uncovering customers' needs, and following through with the right solutions. Understand and execute a professional pre-sale interview, actively listening to customers to understand transportation and purchasing needs, identifying options and providing solutions, increasing satisfaction, loyalty and sales volume.  Professionally manage sale process and customer relations, either on site or at the customers work or home. Be a dealership ambassador, building strong relationships with our customers.  Listen for customer purchasing signals; creating an appropriate atmosphere to present numbers and an opportunity to close the sale. Expertly demonstrate all of the vehicle features, building value in the price, and the relationship with our premiere Chevrolet Dealership.

    CUSTOMER SERVICE_:_  You will deliver a customer experience that's second to none. Provide a high level of personal service for each of your customers, identifying needs and providing solutions specific to them. Make sure every customer receives a thorough explanation of the vehicle features, with special emphasis on the customers' needs and the technology of the vehicle. Explain the entire vehicle interior and exterior features, always follow up to make sure customer needs are met. Support a work culture that fosters and rewards excellence and promotes teamwork and collaboration. Follow procedures for prompt resolution of customer concerns or complaints. Familiarize customer with after sale resources, (Service and Parts departments) and the value of our full service dealership.  Support the sales department through consistent communication with our customers, building value in our dealership and helping set sales appointments

     

    PROFESSIONALISM:  Represent dealership at all times in a highly professional manner. Maintain an orderly workflow according to dealership priorities. Consistently follow the steps of the sale.  Achieve 100% certification status on GM Training Product Knowledge.  Develop thorough knowledge of dealership history,  inventory, and commitment to excellence. Develop and establish a variety of effective marketing and communication channels to reach a broad base of customers.  Keep current on inventory and relevant sales and service specials and communicate to our customers.  Educate on the benefits being a customer for life and suggest dealership options based on customers expressed needs

         

    QUALITY:  Complete and submit all required paperwork and documentation neatly, accurately

    and in a timely manner.  Follow all policies and procedures as it pertains to customer

    accounts and transactions. Consistently maintain accurate tracking of production and contacts.

    Provide complete documentation to the Finance Department, and all internal partners involved in the vehicle delivery process.  Consistently and carefully follow dealership processes for title and delivery.

    QUALIFICATIONS:  College degree, some, previous sales preferred, not required. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, time management and organization skills. Ability to work in a team environment.  Proficient in MS software. Clean driving record. Commit to becoming an expert and gain in-depth knowledge of vehicle's accessories and technology. Experience supporting customers via phone, e-mail, chat, and/or in person. Passion for customer service and ownership of the customer experience.   Able to effectively tailor communication and style to differing audiences.
