Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Manufacturing Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met or exceeded. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in a manufacturing environment and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Provide leadership and guidance to manufacturing team members, including training, coaching, and performance management.
Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and other departments to resolve manufacturing issues and optimize processes.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Monitor production metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and testing.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.
Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software systems.
