We are a rapidly growing company with an immediate, full-time opening for a qualified drafter within the engineering department. Our dedicated team has over 40 years of experience in the design, manufacturing, and quality control of ophthalmic surgical instruments.

Build a Career! Hiring Immediately - ENGINEERING DRAFTER - Full Time Position

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in Solidworks
• Experience with technical drawings
• Great attention to detail, especially proofreading of documentation prior to submittal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
• Ability to multi-task on different projects, while maintaining high quality performance
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box
• Hands-on ability

JOB SUMMARY:

• Create and maintain technical drawings for products on both the component and assembly levels
• Create and maintain documentation for product specific DHF (design history files) and DMR (device master records) in Microsoft Word
• Organize documentation to be easily accessible for the engineering and regulatory departments
• Manage engineering change requests
• Collaborate with the engineering department on product and fixture design
• Create process validation protocols, conduct hands-on testing to gather applicable data, and create validation reports
• Opportunity to advance to engineering positions
