My husband and I live close to Rice University (Old Braeswood), and we are looking for a female live-in nanny. We have only one child, and she is a healthy 5 week old little girl. We are hoping to offer room and board in exchange for 20 hours of work per week. The duties to be performed during this time would be care of our daughter, help with baby's laundry, and occasional meal prep. Work hours would be flexible, but we would primarily want help during daytime hours Monday-Friday. We would also like evening care for a date night twice per month. The caregiver must have at least one year of experience with newborn care. Caregiver must also be comfortable with indoor cats.
