    We are seeking an Assistant Catering Event Planner - to join our team! You will be responsible for organizing catering events and limited social media marketing of the Catering Company. This job is an entry level-HOURLY paid job to start with Kathy G. & Company Inc.

    Responsibilities:

    • Must be organized and Dependable Assistant to our Director of Catering Sales to help with data entry, phone calls, keeping clients’ folders updated, ordering specific items through our vendors for a client’s event.
    • Learn our Systems for Catering and be able to focus on data entry to create proposals for client's event.
    • The job would be Monday-Friday from 9:00- 4:30 pm plus some weekends for events. Willing to adapt to a flexible schedule.
    • Must have computer skills in Window based applications and must be able to work with all social media Posting.
    • Maintain an Organized Desk and Phone logs.

    Qualifications:

    • Required to have two years working in the catering/hospitality Industry: previous experience with a catering company, or operating a Venue location (hosting weddings or catered events) or Restaurant Management
    • Attention to detail & able to work under our Director of Sales for Catering
    • Excellent Customer Service skills both written and oral
    • Ability to work well in teams.
