Downtown law firm is searching for an Accounting Clerk to provide support to meet the demands of the Accounting Department. Primary responsibilities would include but is not limited to:
- Prepare backup documentation to disbursements and expenses.
- Input data, rules and settings pursuant to new or updated Client Billing Guidelines
- Transfer data from various Excel spreadsheets to Financial Software
- Maintain data integrity, ensure the accuracy of settings and data
- Compile data, prepare report and assist with analytical trends
- Basic Workflow Administration
- Basic Custom Report Layout Creation and Maintenance
- Assists with all areas of Accounting including Accounts Payable, Billing and Accounts Receivable
- Administrative and clerical support as necessary
Qualified Candidates should possess:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Degree concentration in Accounting, Mathematics or Computer Science helpful
- Have a “can-do” mentality
