  • Responsibilities

    Summary: The Financial Reporting Analyst working directly with the Assistant Director of Finance and Accounting, shall have responsibility for assigned financial functions including preparing management reports, compiling and analyzing data with written analysis. 

    Specific Responsibilities: 

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports that provide insight into current operating and financial trends of the Firm
    • Prepare weekly reports that show the status of billing for the current month
    • Prepare adhoc reports as requested
    • Assist with monthly and annual closing tasks and preparation of audit sample package for external audits
    • Create report templates that can be utilized by end users to produce required reports and make the end user self-sufficient 
    • Maintain documentation on all reports created which can be used as training material
    • Perform other related duties as assigned
    • Special projects as requested

    Requirements:

    • BS in Business or Finance
    • 0 to 2 years law firm or comparable experience desirable
    • Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including working with pivot tables, formulas and VLOOKUPs.
    • Experience with MS PowerPoint and creating presentations including the ability to create charts and graphs as required
