Kaufman & Kabani is a full-service CPA firm located in downtown Los Angeles. We are an independent member of BDO Alliance, USA. We have an opening for a position of Audit Manager in our integrated Audit and Tax Practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are motivated and strive for success.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific responsibilities of this position include: ​

• Supervise and direct all aspects of audit and review assignments from planning through issuance of full-disclosure financial statements;
• Oversee special projects like internal audit engagements, new accounting systems implementation, writing accounting and procedural manuals, budgeting and projections etc.
• Independently supervising clients’ accounting personnel and preparing monthly internal financial statements; resolve day-to-day accounting issues at clients and provide suggestions to continually improve the processes;
• Analyze internal financial statements for clients’ senior management;
• Pro-actively maintain client contact and relationships, use technology to continually learn and share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery.

REQUIRED BACKGROUND

• Candidates must have at least four-years accounting degree, preferably CPA with minimum 5 years of recent public accounting experience.
• Knowledge of advanced quick books and data analysis software will be added advantage.
• Project management and organizational skills together with advanced writing and communication skills and a dedication to teamwork and leadership are essential for this position.
• Understanding of US Federal and State income taxes for S-Corporations/Individuals. and ProSystem fx Engagement would be added advantage.
