At Kavi Global, Consultant, Data Engineering will work closely with the customers, internal consultants, and development team to design, develop, test and implement BI and Data Warehousing Solutions. You will also be involved in the requirements, design, development and implementation of data warehouse, data marts and data integration services. You will also be responsible for processing and exploring client data, translate requirements into analytical methods and presenting results to customers. You will be responsible for the quality and the timeliness of the projects to be delivered to the clients and ensure development of solutions to comply with required frameworks, procedures, standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the design, development and testing of ETL moving large amounts of source data into data warehouse.
• Creation of target definitions and source to target mappings.
• Creation of technical documents necessary to create and maintain the ETL process.
• Data Quality Validation and Correction
• ETL Design and Development
• Testing and Documentation

This individual will be responsible for working with Business Analysts and Data Scientists for ETL requirements and design. Implement data quality and business rule into ETL by working closely with Functional SMEs, Data Governance team and Data Quality Analyst.

You will also be responsible for the quality and the timeliness of the project to be delivered to the clients and also ensure development of solutions to framework, procedures, standards and compliance.

Requirements

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as engineering, computer science, information systems, or equivalent is required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• 1+ years of experience working with ingesting multiple data formats such as csv, Json, XML.
• Experience with specific Data Integration Platform such as Informatica, SAS Data Integration Studio, SQL Server SSIS, IBM Data Stage and etc.
• Experience working with Complex ETL Transformation.
• Experience in working with multiple data sources and databases and strong data warehousing concepts.
• Strong SQL experience.
• Experience working with one or more of the popular BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau and Qlik.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• 1+ years of experience in data integration for data warehouse and data marts.
• Good understanding of Business Intelligence and Analytical Solutions.
• Experience with architecting Data warehousing and Analytic Solution
• Knowledge on Analytics Tools.
