Everyday California is looking for a Shop Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Sunset Beach location. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves the ocean, thrives on keeping things organized, and enjoys working with people.

What You'll Do:

Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly from open to close. Lead and support a small team, helping with scheduling, training, and day-to-day guidance. Manage retail inventory for hardgoods, including ordering, restocking, and keeping the shop well-merchandised and ready for customers. Lead SUP and kayak tours through Huntington Beach Harbour, delivering a fun, safe, and memorable experience for guests. Maintain rental equipment and ensure gear is clean, functional, and ready to go. Handle customer service, troubleshoot issues, and keep the shop running with a positive, welcoming vibe.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in retail or shop management, ideally in an outdoor, water sports, or similar environment. Comfortable leading SUP and/or kayak tours (certifications a plus, or willingness to obtain them). Strong organizational skills, especially around inventory management and ordering. A natural leader who can motivate and support a small crew. Reliable, proactive, and able to handle the day-to-day demands of a busy beachside shop. Love for the ocean and a passion for sharing that with others.
