Kbrax, Inc. a startup software design and development company with locations in Southern California and Phoenix Arizona, is actively looking for talented full stack Java engineers and UI/UX designers. Candidates along with our excellent software development team, will be responsible for working on client projects or products under research and development by the company. Candidates will also be working closely with healthcare fortune 500 companies delivering solutions for their Information Technology needs.

As a UI/UX designer you will be working on client projects and products, creating and improving UI/UX for healthcare web applications. You will be transforming requirements and business objectives to wireframes, designs and prototypes. Iterate and review existing UIs to ensure consistency and quality. You will collaborate closely with clients, product management and development team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design user interfaces for modern healthcare web applications

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements to wireframes, designs and prototypes

• Define and build UI components and patterns

• Present and sell design ideas and recommendations to product management and business stakeholders.

• Collaboration with engineering team on design solutions

• Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives

• Iterate on designs across multiple projects at the same time

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of professional design experience

• FAMILIARITY WITH ANGULAR IS A MUST!

• UNDERSTANDING OF CORE JAVA LANGUAGE IS CRITICAL!

• Knowledge of modern UI/UX design tools

• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.

• Familiar with HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Design work portfolio

• Ability to understand business objectives and stakeholder needs and translate them into solutions.

• Customer-centered problem solver

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and successfully complete of deliverables

• Attention to detail

• Organizational skills and focus on quality of work

HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with React, Vue.js, Angular, Bootstrap or other modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks

• Previous experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare technologies

• Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA standards

• Comfort and ability to collaborate with other data teams (e.g., DBA’s, Architects, Analysts, Programmers)

• Sensitivity and flexibility to work around stakeholders’ diverse communication styles, priorities and availability
