Commission based (estimated $50k+ a year) Responsibilities: • Client Consultation : Conduct thorough consultations with prospective buyers to understand their preferences, requirements, and budget constraints. Listen actively to their needs and provide insightful advice to help them find their ideal property • Property Search : Utilize real estate databases, market knowledge, and networking to identify properties that align with clients' criteria. Present potential options and organize property tours • Lead Generation : Ability to generate leads through a variety of methods including but not limited to door knocking, holding open houses, and reaching out to your sphere • Negotiation : Represent buyers' interests during negotiations with sellers and their agents. Strive to secure the best possible terms, prices, and conditions for our clients • Market Expertise : Stay up-to-date with local and regional real estate market trends, property values, and economic factors that could impact the buying process. Provide clients with accurate information to help them make informed decisions • Transaction Management : Guide clients through the entire purchasing process, including drafting and reviewing offers, contracts, and necessary documentation. Coordinate with lenders, inspectors, and other professionals to ensure a smooth transaction • Client Communication : Maintain open and timely communication with clients, keeping them informed about new properties, market updates, and the progress of their transactions • Relationship Building : Cultivate strong relationships with clients, building trust and rapport to encourage repeat business and referrals • Team Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with other members of the real estate team, including listing agents, transaction coordinators, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional client service • Continuing Education : Stay current with industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends through ongoing training and professional development Qualifications: • Real Estate License : Must hold a valid real estate license in Virginia • Proven Experience : Prior experience as a Buyer's Agent or in a similar role is preferred, but motivated individuals new to the field will also be considered • Market Knowledge : Strong understanding of the local real estate market, property values, and neighborhoods • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to clients • Negotiation Skills : Proven ability to negotiate effectively, balancing the interests of buyers and sellers • Customer Focus : Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and exceeding clients' expectations • Tech-Savviness : Proficiency in using real estate software, CRM systems, and digital tools for property search and communication • Time Management : Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and clients simultaneously
