Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics for our 3rd shift at our facility located in Dallas, TX, 75236. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, conducting machine safety inspections, and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize your electrical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Conduct regular machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to conveyor systems, motors, and hydraulic systems
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop preventive maintenance plans and schedules
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime
- Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
- Knowledge of machine safety regulations and ability to conduct safety inspections
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for maintenance and repair tasks
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report maintenance activities
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
