Overview
We are currently seeking Second Shift Maintenance Mechanics to join our team at our facility located in Dallas, TX, 75236. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical issues in a manufacturing environment. This is a second shift position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Utilize electrical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair issues with machinery and equipment.
- Apply mechanical troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical problems in a timely manner.
- Perform routine machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to prioritize and complete repair tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with conducting machine safety inspections.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
