Led by a motivated team with a proven track record of creating a highly profitable and sustainable portfolio of companies, Keelson Management is looking to add a Operations & Data Analyst to its growing Project Management team.
Keelson Management’s Operations & Data Analyst (“Analyst”) provides support primarily to the Project Management Office (“PMO”), while also supporting other functional areas of the enterprise. The Analyst will assist with the effective organization and administration of company-wide projects/initiatives of strategic significance, leveraging the existing PMO process. Additionally, the Analyst is charged with organizing operational and financial information, extracting critical data, transitioning into usable data sets, conducting various forms of analysis, providing analytical and thoughtful insight, and generating reporting to help inform all levels of decision making, driving towards continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with local personnel and at affiliated companies to acquire critical documents and data
- Develop basic understanding of the contents of key documents, processes and systems
- Maintain a standardized filing system for project documents in shared folders and defined locations
- Update project plans using project tracking tools, including deadlines, status updates, at-risk items, milestones
- Schedule and participate in PMO and other ad hoc meetings, and present project status updates to senior management (weekly, monthly, etc.)
- Record meeting minutes and specific action items resulting from meetings
- Continuously pursue opportunities to streamline/automate manual steps in administrative and reporting processes
- Collect key data points from documents and systems to transition into data sets
- Create and maintain various dashboards for key performance indicator and financial tracking
- Create and maintain strong communication lines among employees, vendors, customers, and/or stakeholders
- Analyze data and develop reports to be used to support tactical and strategic decision making
- Compile and refine weekly flash reports and other reports requested by management and/or shareholders
- Assist with issue triage and generate recommendations for how to solve operational and technical problems
- Support various group initiatives on an ad hoc basis as directed
- Assist with administrative duties as required and directed
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, math, computer science, or related field required
- Strong communication skills written and verbal, and strong documentation skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Google products (i.e. Sheets, Docs, Slides, Gmail, etc.)
