Job Description

Led by a motivated team with a proven track record of creating a highly profitable and sustainable portfolio of companies, Keelson Management is looking to add a Procurement Lead to its Accounting & Finance team.

The Procurement Lead will be responsible for finding and evaluating suppliers, products and services; negotiating contracts and acquiring the most cost-effective deals while ensuring the company is best equipped to achieve their business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage preferred suppliers, products and services; this includes utilizing the RFP and RFQ processes to identify and evaluate new suppliers
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers on preferred pricing and payment terms to ensure internal expectations are met
• Manage purchase orders, the purchase order process, and purchase order approval hierarchy
• Analyze and enforce department project spending compared to budget
• Create and monitor supplier and inventory KPIs
• Provide reporting and training to managers

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• Experience in procurement and/or finance, preferred
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Occasional travel may be required
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient computer skills (experience with Google products (i.e., Sheets, Docs, Slides, Gmail, etc.) is a bonus)
