Compensation: $72,000 base plus incentive pay and benefits Responsibilities: • Prepare estimates, written proposals, budgets, costs, and updates for clients and project managers • Evaluate proposals, specifications, blueprints, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole • Compute labor, construction materials, time, and product costs to estimate overall cost for construction projects • Interface with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors • Inspect the construction site to collect necessary client requirement information Qualifications: • Critical thinking, analytical skills, and very strong math skills are required • Three years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is needed • Excellent project management, time-management, and communication skills are necessary • Valid Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is a plus • Understanding of accounting, data and risk analysis, research methodology, and estimation metrics is vital Compensation: $72,000 + incentives and benefits
