Summary:

We are seeking an Accounting Services Manager to join our team at our Hot Springs, AR location. As an Accounting Services Manager at Keith Smith Company, you will interface with several departments and gain business acumen. You will be a part of a team that adds value to the company through accurate data processing, analysis, and transformation into information used for business decisions. This role includes but is not limited to management of AR & AP personnel and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review of AR invoices, deposits, payment applications, customer creation, and supporting docs

• Review of AP vouchers, payments, vendor creation, and supporting docs

• Recommend needed internal controls related to AR/AP processes

• AR/AP related period end account reconciliations

• Weekly review of inventory usage

• Quarterly customer credit checks

• Weekly and periodic reporting

• Leadership of 1099 verification and submission

• Weekly meetings with direct reports

• Cross-training personnel for redundancy and maintenance of SOPs

• Developing and maintaining KPIs and dashboards related to cash flow

• Involvement in hiring, training, developing staff

• Management of production data entry

Required Skills/Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in AR and/or AP

• Experience managing AR/AP personnel

• Driven self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work well with others in a team setting

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• Experienced with Microsoft Excel

• Experience using Sage Intacct or other similar ERP System
