Keller Williams Realty International is seeking an Executive Director of Engineering who can seamlessly align the needs of the business with the requirements of engineering. The Executive Director of Engineering will be responsible for ensuring all team members effectively working together so that Keller Williams can continually refine their systems and models to best deliver engaging experiences for their agents and their consumers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a multi-functional engineering team through all aspects of product delivery
Responsible for the on-time delivery of software solutions fully aligned to business objectives and technical requirements
Hold multiple independent agile teams to a high standard of accountability
Utilize creative problem-solving methods and out-of-the-box thinking for technology usage and development practices
Participate in strategic planning with technology leaders and stakeholders
Apply expertise in modern engineering techniques and best practices to inform Keller William’s leadership on how best approach new and existing product lines.
Enthusiastically lead team through changes in priority and requirements
Build a culture driven by automation, documentation and positive user experiences
Develop team members through an environment of ample learning and growth opportunities
Knowledge and Skills:
10+ years experience of technical architecture experience
A proven track record of building passionate and experienced teams of problem solvers
Strong familiarity with design and architecture patterns
Deep expertise and knowledge of industry trends, technology and best practices
Ability to clearly translate engineering terms and concepts to a broad audience
Ability to create and work within clear budget guidelines
Possess a high degree of adaptability and able to work through mutually beneficial solutions across different business departments
