    What you’ll do:

    As the editorial associate, you will own all functionary aspects of the editorial process and support the Editor in bringing BIG stories to life on Outfront – Keller Williams’ corporate publication (web/print).

    Our ideal candidate is ambitious, creative and dedicated; able to pair their drive for storytelling with their knack for deadlines and details. Using your exceptional coordination skills, you will partner with the Editor and other stakeholders to expand the frequency and reach of the publication. You will use your strong written skills and editorial aptitude to help distribute timely, engaging and compelling content that can be leveraged across channels.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Works with Editor to shape editorial approach, process and strategy.

    Conducts research for upcoming articles and large-scale editorial projects.

    Owns administrative end of work commissioned to writers. Serves as the main point of contact (assigns briefs, answers questions, submits invoices, maintains budget).

    Schedules interviews and performs pre-interviews with sources as needed.

    Keeps an updated list of sources and pitches for future stories.

    Answers Outfront inquiries, emails and correspondence.

    Scours interviews and articles to create micro-content that can be leveraged across channels.

    Stays plugged into technology and real estate content trends to source new and innovative ideas for future stories.

    Monitors various streams of information sources such as competitors, internal initiatives, industry publications and social media channels for story ideas.

    Maintains key editorial metrics and data to assess content performance and generate high-level reports.

    Writes and edits articles as needed.

    Performs routine site maintenance on Outfront digital – updates articles, optimizes content.

    Provides support to Editor at training conferences and events – schedules photoshoots/video shoots, manages communication onsite.

    Track stories through production cycle – communicating with Editor and stakeholders along the way.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field and/or equivalent experience

    Flawless writing, editing and proofreading skills

    1-2 years of copywriting experience; web articles strongly preferred

    Demonstrated ability to coordinate workflows and processes; publications processes a plus

    Ability to prioritize tasks

    Strong editorial judgement

    Experience working with content management systems; WordPress or Hubspot a plus

    Working knowledge of Google Analytics
